This is a competition held in September 2016 by Jimbaran Hijau Developer. We need to design Art and Cultural Center that includes Contemporary Art Gallery, Culture Museum, Performing Courtyard, and Artist Residence. We had an idea that Art and Cultural Center in Jimbaran could be a new Tourist Destination and develop the art and culture community in Bali. Our concept is Balinese Zoning “Sanga Mandala”. Divided in 9 zones, with each zone has a meaning. The center of the zone is landscape with the museums and the gallery surround it. And in every building we put small courtyard, as transition from the landscape.
Role : Architect
- Brainstorm ideas;
- Seek and share inspiration and reference to support creative design solutions;
- Develop design ideas and concepts;
- Develop drawings, sketches, and 3d modeling to convey ideas and concepts;
- Exploration of design options;
- Assemble presentations using a variety of digital media, particularly Adobe InDesign.
