A courtyard at the junction of the house ensures that daylight infiltrates deep into the house. Large glazed doors and windows create a fluid connection between internal and external spaces. This relationship is further enhanced by continuity between internal and external building elements and materials. Located in 20kms away from Melbourne and draws on it’s local context and history to create a unique contemporary home. The house provides varying places to enjoy family time, relaxation and memorable holidays with secondary spaces located around a central private North facing double height indoor outdoor room.
Role : Architect & Interior Designer
- Work closely with Design Director, Studio Director, Design Manager, Design team to develop architectural design from concept stage to construction documentation;
- Undertake design project from concept to completion with principle;
- Support preparation of conceptual designs, space plans, presentations, design development;
- Exploration of design options;
- Specificy materials and furnishing, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, etc.;
- Preparing construction and interior drawing;
- Participting in meeting with suppliers, consultants and owner.
