The building is part of a housing estate in a fast development area in Citraland Surabaya. In order to ensure the privacy of the residents, the house is hidden from access road and northern neighbors behind the roof surface. The roof as skin was designed not only for cover the building, but also serves for openings and skylights, so the sun light can reach inside the building. Most of the space were designed as open as possible to create the feeling of blending with the surrounding. This house accommodate 2 master bedrooms and 3 bedrooms with en-suite in each room. Living dining area become one open space facing the garden. Each floor has balcony with open roof to air circulation as well.
Role : Architect & Interior Designer
- Work closely with Design Director, Studio Director, Design Manager, Design team to develop architectural design from concept stage to construction documentation;
- Support preparation of conceptual designs, space plans, presentations, design development;
- Exploration of design options;
- Specificy materials and furnishing, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, etc.;
- Preparing construction and interior drawing;
- Participting in meeting with suppliers, consultants and owner.
