This project is designed to accommodate growing staff at client's existing office building. The existing one storey office building is then demolish to make way for bigger, two storey office building. The addition of the second floor on the existing location creates vistas to the surrounding warehouse complex. The design correspond with the industrial theme of the surrounding warehouses. To get in line with client's new vision of efficient workspace and transparency, special attention is given with the detailing of its steel architecture by minimising connection joints and exposing its structure.
Role : Architect
- Brainstorm ideas;
- Seek and share inspiration and reference to support creative design solutions;
- Develop design ideas and concepts;
- Develop drawings, sketches, and 3d modeling to convey ideas and concepts;
- Exploration of design options;
- Assemble presentations using a variety of digital media, particularly Adobe InDesign;
- Participating in building check;
- Specificy materials and furnishing, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, etc.;
- Preparing construction drawing;
- Participting in meeting with suppliers, consultants and owner.
